2l vs 3l displacement and $$$ required

Heres 2 examples making similar power.

 

So the 2l has avcs, extensive headwork, oversized valves, big cams, 14mm studs, gtx3582 .82, sinco manifolds. Not sure if block was closed or sleeved. Forged internals.

The 3l/ez30r has avcs/avls, only valve springs, murch holset hx5#, sinco manifolds. Stock block not sleeved or closed. Forged internals.

and the ez30 sounds phenominal on boost.... probably better torque numbers too. the 2 setups probably cost a similar number because of the turbo, manifolds, ecu to run it and ongoing gearbox destroying goodness

Be interesting to see how much more power bigger injectors and e85 would have made before the ez hit a restriction.

Complete side observation but the graph does kinda take a giant S*** on the "big turbos have bad driveability" argument; 200wkw (assume that's what the axis is?) at 4750rpm from the GTX3582 on a 2L; see if you can find me a VF turbo that makes that.

Add e85 and see what happens? Bet it drives nothing like a vf where you actually drive a vf. I know I drove more in the 3-5.5k region than the 4.7-8k region with the vf stuff I had. Difference would be nippy as opposed to hold on mafuker.
