door closed but

since ive had my 91 rs the door is closed proply but the outside insnt flush,looks like its been just half pushed shut, but lights on dash show door is shut, just wana flush up how it looks now, how/what do i adjust

slam the shit out of it first. It might not be shut all the way. I had my civic for a month before i figured out you had to REALLY slam the back door.

I know there is an adjustment for the door, but i dont know the specifics on BC/BF models

it will need to be adjusted at the hinges or the latch on the body, near where the door sensor is.

Can you adjust the latch on the chassis of the car?

If you can you have to play with the hinge and latch postion

+1 loosen the hinges and move the door in, out, up or down as necessary..have a look at your striker plate (latch) as dubbed said could be there to.. easy to adjust...impack driver fix's all ;D

If the door open light goes out I would think that it is actually closed SSSOOOOO it may actually be bent ???

The light button thing light thing thingy pushy in thing, doesn’t need to be fully err pushed to turn light out, well on mine it doesn’t half way is good (maybe mine is broken though) so now just making a fool of myself
