14 inch alloys

Hi guys

I hoping someone might be able to help me out. I am currently on the look out for a set of 14 inch alloy to fit a 1988 omega/leone RX coupe.

I have tried a subaru wreaker in Chch and all he said was good luck.

My suggestion is do a 6 stud conversion

then U can run any 4wd rim

Ive never really looked but arnt the rims on a omega 14 inch any way?

if you fit the 13 inch rims from a leone on a omega the capliers rub agaisnt the rim... Ive known people that had ground the caplier back..

There should be plemtly of alloy leone rims at wreackers... mind you they might had scraped alot of the old alloy stuff when scrap was worth aload of cash

nope the Omega comes with the good old 13" subaru H rim stock(well the rx anyways)

when I brought this car it is fitted with the old steel white spoke wheels from the early eightys cars.

The car has also been fitted with spacers so that the centre caps fit over the nut for the hub.

I know that mag and turbo do a 15" rim that will fit

but at $2000 a set a bit steep

I may be able to source a set of 13" h rims for u

but other than that keep lookin

they do come up on trademe

speaking of rims...

wondering if anyone knows of a conversion from this standard subaru 4stud (wide) pattern to the more modern 4stud (closer together). got a mint set of 17in rims and tyres in 4stud/multi fit (100 or 114.5), would love to put on my new brumby! Is it possible or is there an adapter plate available? Ive seen 17s on a brumby b4, so i know its possible. cheers for any help!

an adapter plate would be the easiest as the centre of the brumby/leone is wider than this

but they may not be legal...

Could machine the hubs down and redrill,fronts would be real easy

rears maybe not...

I have a number of 14" rim sets , Steel and Alloy but i'm not the kinda guy to sell things off really, i don't need the money and i like having spares for spares for spares ya know?

I do have a set of leone hubs converted to 6 stud (6x139.5 toyota), but i'm not sure you will find the rims you want in 6 stud? It would suit a brumby owner who wants 4x4 tyres better i think. Although you could get some sic 17 / 18" 6 stud alloys and put low profiles on, it would look wicked.

I will dig up a pic for you, but they are diamond pattern honeycomb, each "diamond" is 25mm or so long if that makes sence.

Not sure what rocking horse poo is worth these days, I have never seen another set like these ones. Having said that, they are only taking up space in the shed so a realistic offer would not be refused.

I have started to do a set of 6 stud converted hubs which is easier

I have a full set of RX brakes for the brumby (rear discs)

I have a water to air intercooler for the RX

Even over in The USA you can pay alot for them. They arnt common and the parts ones that are availble there seem to been wipped for that perpose.

And XT6 parts here... Nill same with OZ and even Japan. They have all dissapeared :'(

My RX Rally car has a Crossbred rear conversion in it, real nice piece of kit. Hence why the 14" rims are available, my car now runs 5 stud legacy hubs.

Mate has done front conversion ok (leone) and runs adapters on back FYI

Re the crossbred kit - rear only was just over $1000 with shipping/import tax

Front is easy to do locally - just redrilling the taper lock in the LCA to fit the legacy ball joint.

These have been in storage a couple of years so could do with a good clean - but you get the idea. A few minor skuffs but no major curbage.
