So thats why I bought a wagon - so I cant do that

I had a good fiddle under the car tonight (no teens, preteens or anything else involved I should add), all bushes seem fine and all bolts are well and tight. However my right front shock has seen better days. So as Ive got a spare pair of Bilstein front struts from the rallycar, I will chuck them in tomorrow night and see if that was the cause. Although normally knocking shocks sounds different in my experience and has the accompanying ride/handling problems - so maybe this shocks just starting to die and still functions, just loudly?

Yeah, it sounds similar to a suspension knock in my case, only about 3-4 times louder, and ONLY on the WOT gear changes, at no other time does it nock. So for me i'm pretty sure it's not the suspension.
