good upgrade for primary turbo?

hi all, got my newest toy yesterday (damn Im getting a few cars parked on my drive now lol) , 1994 rs legacy, 127,000kms, manual, stock standard. Only problem with it is that I think the primary turbo is on its way out, can hear it doesnt sound to healthy when I turn the car off and its winding down. Whats a good straight bolt on replacement? any of the newer b4 primarys a good choice? newby to the whole twin turbo thing here....

lol, should just sell them all and buy a new bmw or something haha, so far theres the bf5 wagon, the bc5 rs, the wrx wagon, and the new rs, oh and the commie, oh and the navara ute is usually floating round somewhere, oh and my brother in laws gt wagon seems to live here a fair bit....

Are you calling those of us who drive single turbo'ed TT's "boyracer dumbasses"?? Or just the ones that pay big dollars to buy one?

Nah just figured a boy racer would pay big $$$ for one solving both the multi car problem and the money one, not trying to put anyone down. Personally I love the singled TT's especially after going in Reuben's GTB a couple of days ago ;D

EDIT:And yes you gotta be a dumbass to pay big dollars for a 15yr old car these days ::)

Hey, I had a VF31 put on my 1997 GTB for the primary - apparently these are off a B4 up wards model, straight bolt in and seems a hell of a lot peppier than the previous item, boost comes on really early which is awesome! I did have a moan about it when it was first put on because it barely worked lol but after a few km's had gone by she was away! (it was a brand spanker from Subby NZ - must be a run in period perhaps?)

Pretty much any primary turbo from the TT range will fit on - the newer the better. The primarys start to whine after a while, had a new one put on mine (warranty) and it was whining within 50,000kms. I'd start looking for a replacement one from one of the newer TT's, but I wouldn't swap it until it fully dies (if it does)

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
