Am I getting annoying yet ? ;D

Right looking for feedback on interesting ways to tune down the VOD.

Manual adjustment on the turbos possible ?

Or is my best bet to go out and get a ZS controller ?

Oh id also be keen to get mine off sometime and have a geeze at them check the seals etc make sure they are in A-OK condition as I don't think they have ever been looked at in their 210k km life.

If anyone in the chch area is keen.

I think there's only 4 options

1) ZS controller

2) Apexi AVC-R works well on TT

3) Single conversion

0r sell it and buy a single turbo subaru.

Not a fan of the Zerosports, been there done that...

With the twin, theres 3 options. The 3rd being the best as it opens up better tuning possibilities

a) Learn to drive around the VOD

b) Try to fix the VOD

c) Insert single

you only notice it new - Or if you constantly accelerating to highway speeds...

I've gotten use to it, Would just be nice to try have something more linear.

May just be because mines auto and not very smart sometimes and I don't normally get the second turbo boost until just before redline.

I've heard there is mechanical ways to adjust this but no idea how.

Wouldn't mind somehow dropping it back to kick in around 4k ;D

geez 2nd turbo boost untill near redline, is that normal for an auto? im piking not

yea that does sound odd, should be nearer 5-6500 (or in between, load dependant)

You can adjust the ecv to get rid of vod in a straight line at least. Can still get in it on gear changes of course.

Exhaust control valve sorry. The thing that opens and closes to adjust exhaust flow over the secondary. Has an adjustable arm. You can adjust it to allow a very small flow through before it opens properly. Although if you go too far you will lose bottom end.

I'm also thinking there might be something else wrong with it but who knows.

With the amount of ks on it it's hard to tell.

Normally get 2nd around late 5800-6000 but when it kicks in it goes basically straight to 7 then changes gear and looses all boost, and normally goes to max slip on the torque converter.

It's lame to say the least.
