Large top mount IC

I was just watching a ignition video on the net when i saw Hyperflow - a company in sydney making large aftermarket topmount intercoolers. Ive been on there site and i have had no luck finding one to fit my car (V2 slant type IC). It seems everything starts for the V3 and works its way up. My question is, is there a company making/importing this type of oversized IC in NZ? Hopefully i can find one for my car! Also if anyone has one on their car, does it have any performance gains? Will the stock water spray still work??\

you can have your current setup upgraded/changed to a 'bar and plate' system. a radiator/intercooler shop can refit using your current end tanks. very positive feedback from this method.

some companies make specific bolt in replacements, ie ARC who i'm sure have made one for V1/V2. also check out MRT. expensive though.

the water sprayer will work on any intercooler/radiator as long as there is airflow and the water is a fine mist.

i assume you need a slanty one due to the angle fo your intake?

why not replace with v3/v4 intake? then use a factory sti IC?

its possible im talking thru a hole in my arse having little to no experence with v1/v2

lol yup try doing this first before saying its just a swap in ;p its a lot of work getting v3/v4 to fit in v1/v2

I have a v3 TMIC that you can have to mock it up and work out what you need to do etc.. its not in the best shape but does come with Y pipe and the red bit..

$30 and shipping an its yours. came outa my car - its working fine, just the fins are a bit mashed.

Im interested in that..

but it says its for 2000 up... so if thats the case it wont fit standard on a v1-6. I've been down that path already.
