Roof air scoop.

Im looking for a way to make the scoop open like only halfway so i can have it open while on the motorway without worrying about it getting torn off by the wind resistance.

sort of like this not sure if its been modded or not opened completely or it comes like this.

Was thinking I would have to replace the clip or something.

dude it ain't coming off, i have mine open on the motor way all the time, and even left it open accidently flying down the 1/4 mile a few times at 190km/h, shes safe mate lol. The only thing i'd be worried about is debris flying in.

Yeah heres hoping, Also wanting it to reduce the amount of air coming in, have a nice airflow not hurricane force winds.

the japanese warning sticker says something about being careful to open or not opening it above 80kmh. ill have to have a better look at it

Just yesterday a passenger opened my roof vent at 100kmh, before I could say anything the latch ripped out of thier hand and snapped off, worst part was the dent it left in the roof as it flew back :'( :'( :'(

i have been worried about the same thing... but if you are careful when you open it you should be fine...

mine whistles when i hit 180 even if its closed
