Fitting manual boost controller.

My MBC was a million times better when I ran new silicone lines and biffed the factory ones with the pill. No spikes, surges or drop offs.

The intake and exhaust (except rear muffler) are all stock. The spiking isn't an issue at the moment and I'd rather it not be an issue at all by eliminating it as much as possible. I'll also be replacing all the hoses with new stuff. Would mind increasing the boost to 10 or 11 or even 12 psi if I can get away with it.

Finally fitted the Apet manual boost controller.

The brand spanking new boost controller is faulty.

It free boosts all the time now (kinda cool having that much power ;D ).

I know it's the boost controller because if I pinch the line between the controller and the T piece I only get 5 psi which means the controller is just venting all the pressure in the lines and not trapping some of it to push the wastegate open.

I'll let you know how I get treated at Apet after I see them tomorrow morning.

Apet suggested that I take the "pea" out of the T piece because some cars just don't like it. That gave me 7 psi (waste gate pressure?) no matter what setting the boost controller was on.

Then I was talking to kamineko and he said it looked like the boost controller wasn't turned all the way down. So I put the pea back in the T piece and with a little force (wasn't bothered if I broke it or not at that stage) I was able to wind the boost controller down and now I'm running 12-13 psi but the pressure does drop as the revs rise which could be a number of things that don't really bother me at the moment.

Next mod is to re-seal the oil pump and then look and replaceing the intake piping with s/steel pipe and silicon elbows. The old plastic intake is probably close to blowing out :P

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
