Sub Dillemma

i had same issue.... power wire from battery was to small volt drop over the distance was to big so one amp would drop out

run a temp cable from battery to boot see if that works

if both amps work on their own with one at a time but not with both on i will say it will be the issue as with Vd (voltdrop) the more current you pull over a distance the more volts you lose, their fore an amp drops out which lowers the amps which brings up the voltage again

Yeah, increase the size of your power and ground cables. For more than one amp you should be using 4ga from the battery to the boot, then you can split that into sections of 8ga if your amps don't accept that big a size cable.

They are not strapped, strapping two amps together forms like one super amp where the positive terminal of one sub goes to amp1 and the negative to amp2. Here, he has two subs and two amps and they are just sharing the rca, remote and power cables i.e daisy chained. Whereby the sharing of the same power cable could possibly be the problem.

Im not sure what you mean by being run in series??? if it is truely in series then it wont work... needs to be parallel

also how does your rca wiring run?

Are they monoblock or 2ch amps?

both amps are are powering up but only amp 2 is producing signal amp too is relying on amp 1 for this what i mean is i have connected amp 2's wires to amp 1 god this is hard to explain look at my pic for a rough indication lone wire is seperate ground

both amps are receiving power, he mave the amps linked withone acting like master other like slave.
