The day is Drift and Grip

Grip drivers:

Sign in from around 10:30-12:30

Drivers brefing 12:35 approx

On track 1pm - 4pm

Drift Drivers

Sign in 8.00-9.00am

Drivers briefing 9.05am

9.15 -12noon Track time

Grip drivers :

$50 per enterant

Enter on the day

Requirements are:

- Current WOF and Registration.

- NZ Drivers Licence.

- A mechanical and safety check must be passed. Noise limit 95dba.

- An approved crash helmet and clean, protective one piece fire-retardant or pure cotton fabric overalls must be worn.

- No passengers to be carried.

- Cars will be separated into categories.

- Prior to entering the circuit for testing, each session will assemble in the Assembly Area and await the signal to proceed on to the circuit proper. (Sessions will rotate in order according to demand)

- Special conditions apply.

- No racing allowed, cars will leave dummy grid at 5 second intervals.

- All drivers are required to attend a briefing before using circuit. This will be held at the conclusion of Documentation.

I would so love to go to this but I won't have the oil leak fixed before then :'(

But on the up side, the car is only leaking oil from the oil pump seal, rocker cover seals appear to be ok

seems like alot of prep work for only 3hours on track. Mite pop along for a look

car needs cambelt and tires done 1st

the 4pm time is Approx usally the permit is open till 5 or 6 pm

ussaly by 4pm every ones had enough and going by previous times thers only been 10-17 cars max so no waiting around thats heaps of track time and $50 I dont know of any cheaper track days

Yes all quite good points. But, id expect the rate to be 50 or less since a full day usualy costs 80-90, and thats 6 hours on track. Never the less we will see what the bank account looks like closer to the time. Since ill be living down there and all.

$50 is the price it costs a club member to hire the track for a half day for testing

so realy we are under cuting paid up members so..

Yes, event is run by SSCC not ClubSub so what you drive doesn't make any difference (as long as its up to WOF standard etc)

Its raining no wind either so the track probly wont dry out very fast but its still on rain or shine ;D

Sposed to clear though. Should come out ok in the afternoon. Winds got up slighty. You wouldnt believe it was 27deg yesterday and hasnt rained in a week!
