Massive Claybar Price Difference?

OK so i'm browsing the Meguiars site (US) to read about their products etc [and lets not get started on what is best etc] but In the US its US$20 for the Smooth Surface Clay kit (http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/detail/MEG+G1016) and here in NZ its NZ$80 (http://www.smitsgroup.co.nz/shop.aspx?showproduct=570)

What gives for the $50-odd price difference (in NZ dollars)?? Im sure I could ship it here and still save about 20 bucks!

Anything else with price differences like these that really grind your gears?

Because one is from a reseller and the other is from the manufacturer themselves. Plus the price of getting products over here.

Feck that, just get the Mothers one ;D Go to Repco in Greenlane, and if they don't have it they'll let you know which Repco does.

If you have the spare dosh, get the sealer and wax from Mothers as well, and some extra microfibre cloths. Claybar, minor cut/polish, then sealer and wax and you could do your makeup in that b!tch ;D

Dad got me Meguiars Wax for Xmas panel beater next door raved about it. But my coat is so so dirty! Its horrible how many tiiiiny rust spots there are from contaminants. Repco here I come

Mothers is win, but so is Meguiars. ;D The little rust spots MUST come out for the sake of the paint's longevity - claybar ftw.

Found both to largely do as on the label when used correctly though. I'm partial to both, despite having 348972938472394823 Mothers products. A few of the boys can vouch for the saved paint after a day or two's gruelling work on each.

Don't know if you can get that Surface Clay Kit from anywhere other than Smits, but you caan get the smaller pack from Supercheap for $42.

It's really all you need if you already have your own wax. Spend the money you save on some cloths.

I rang two different Supercheaps and it seems they don't even have the bigger kit on their stock as noone knew about it.
