car trailer we can borrow?

hey everyone,

as most of you know - 4 & Rotary nationals are on this weekend...

due to some last minute glitches two of the main cars on our stand cannot get to the show, the paint is too wet to stick the engines back in - so the little RX7 and evo zero might miss out - UNLESS someone out there in CLUBSUB land has a car trailer we can borrow for friday afternoon / saturday afternoon for cheapish (we are willing to pay)

we have called around most hire places but it seems most of the car trailers are already booked out (possibly for the show/drags lol)

needs to be in auckland area...

Please post up asap... i know alot of people around here probably wont want to help me but this isnt really for me lol - if someone has one and is willing to loan / hire it to us that would be AMAZING!!

If worst comes to worst, hire places are pretty cheap. I'm sure dave has a good thing or two to say about north harbour rentals too.

AFAIK the issue is that all the hire trailers are goneburger; booked for the Nats and the drags.

One day I'll have a custom trailer built ;D

We followed one of those things down the motorway the other day - sans trailer. They are disgusting :-\

I lurve the custom-built trailers some of the MSNZ guys have; they're completely open, but are the right size for the vehicle in question (say, a DOBC) and have room for a jack and spare set of wheels to be strapped down up front. AND can be towed by something that doesn't want to kill the environment after 30 seconds of idle ;D
