  1. There should be a white small square looking plug down behind the satnav, and above the stereo or behind. If not, the japanese may have used it when installing the satnav, however I have always found the clock plug when replacing the nav screens.
  2. Nachoooo

    CHRISTCHURCH TAG

20m up the road, close enough. Mum's car too haha Nek one There's a better view when you're there, but the tree is the only distinguishable feature
  3. BP/BL is the chassis code from 04 to 08ish, BM/BR is 09 onwards. If you go for the 3.6L 6 cylinder in the 09 Legacy, they still have a 5 speed over the CVT in the 2.0 or 2.5
  4. I am in your position too! I think they\'re termed illuminated clusters? As they light up to see them. But no, they aren\'t a straight swap part annoyingly
  5. Hi all, a mate had this \'98 Type R taken from springfield road in St Albans area on sunday night, any info would be great thanks.
  6. I\'m pretty sure it is an EJ204/Single AVCS. That would/could explain Dylan20N\'s problem. Intake Cam Timing off on one Bank. I\'ve read a good write up/thread on that exact fault and the issues it causes but have no idea where I read it. : Was the solution to just remove the Gauze completely? Edit: Dylan what is your Engine Code on your Passenger Strut Tower Chassis Plate/Tag. Yeah that makes sense. Was having a chat to a workmate and from what he said it just prevents them falling to bits in there
  7. I believe these early EJ204\'s were only single AVCS, just on the intake? The oil pressure sensors can get clogged up in their gauze filters, and in some cases the gauze filters can fall apart, causing the sensor to misread. This only applies if you have the EJ204 engine haha
  8. Prorack are pretty comparable in quality, and a bit cheaper too
  9. I think the 2003 models have a wedge bulb as park\'s? I was in Wanaka, but just find a cheap online site, likes of dx.com etc that offers free shipping, but be prepared to wait an extra few days haha. You probably don\'t want to change your full beam bulbs, the reflectors aren\'t designed to have a LED or HID bulb in the high beam place. Also, having a HID/Halogen combo gives a better "spread" of light, comparing brightness, throw and \'bending\' (wavelength/frequency etc).
  10. I put these in mine, light distribution seems alright, only loss is the \'whiteness\' is pretty hard to see during the day compared to the standard filament bulbs. But at night, the colour is great. These ones are dual wattage too, so when you hit the indicator, the corresponding side will get brighter. http://dx.com/p/1157-ba15d-3-25w-6500k-216-lumen-54x3528-smd-led-white-light-bulbs-for-car-pair-12v-94198#.Uv8Uk2S1Y1Y
  11. When you say first or second motorsport event, is that club specific? Or is it just any motorsport event affiliated with Motorsport NZ?
  12. Mine has done the same, also found a dodgy contact on the rear windscreen, where there was crap half joining the aerial circuit to the demister circuit, bit of glass and contact cleaner and it helped, but still not sorted for sure. Reception has also been pretty average too, with an expander and factory head unit
  13. What about a strip like this all around the interior of the gauge? http://dx.com/p/13-5w-1080lm-45-smd-5630-led-green-light-car-decoration-light-strip-black-white-45cm-2-pcs-244604
  14. Guessing this means of the leg variety? That beats me; I\'m only just pushing 1800km haha Nachooo yup try to get out as much as pos 94 Leone.. More than most mate!! Keep it up Nice one! I think I\'ve managed a total of 7 outings on a road bike so far, 2 of them have been the Lake Wanaka half haha. I\'ve probably ridden a total of 300km max myself, singletrack would be my choice though. What wheels did you get?
  15. I see your bike on roof, and present this 99 TS-R with my Commencal Meta 5.5 Ltd
  16. Indeed! This is technically a Taiga, rather than a Niva. These were brought in by Dairy NZ I believe in exchange for butter with Russia haha. Roughly 300 (don\'t quote me on that) were cut down into single cab flat deck utes, with the chassis extended and leaf springs on the rear. This was road worthy and regularly used till 09, but after that, I found it lurking in the shed so thought I could have some fun. Last time I checked it only had 45,000k\'s on it too. Might be a keeper! I\'ve managed to break various parts, a CV was fun ha, but it\'s put up with a good thrashing! This was how I managed to break it; got stuck, put in centre lock, gave it the beans, saw it doing this, thought it looked cool, till bang, haha no drive no more :L
  17. Got the Lada running so dad could put it to work, pretty much gave him a new tractor. He was stoked. In soviet Russia you don\'t rake paddocks, Lada does.
  18. Not mine, but a few of some other locals Impreza\'s. I know 2 are now sold, not sure about the other, thought it was too cool not to share!
  19. Thank you! I think I\'m having that problem, along with a 60% stripped thread on one arm. Thanks Winter.
  20. Queenstown, Wanaka and Cromwell only have 95 at BP and Caltex, not sure about the rest
  21. We (boss and I) did a trans flush, (plugged into a Wynn\'s trans flush machine using about 12L of Elf G3 with an additive) on our 2001 Lancaster 6 w/ 4eat. Reading this thread has me slightly concerned, as it would seem G3 is just the standard Dexron 3 fluid. Should I be worried, and is this the wrong fluid? We did use a genuine Subaru filter. I wanted to flush it as dad had just driven from Gore to Wanaka towing a chiller room in 3rd @ 80kmh the whole way haha. Also, prior to this, there is a distinct "thunk" (specific I know...) coming from the trans area as you come to a stop at intersections, this hasn\'t gone away with a flush, so any ideas what\'s happening?
