    I have had no insurance for my vehicles since 1983...about 30 years without any crashes or anything stolen.i figure im about $30k ahead. Just drive defensively all the time and dont leave car anywhere thats the slightist bit dodgy. Different strokes for different folks...

    If its unregistered its technically illegal and you may get a ticket however they judge it on a case by case basis and you may not have to pay a fine...

    Seems a bit unfair however thats the justice system we have to live with..Everyone is presumed innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law with ALL facts presented.

    50,000 k's...thats about 5years running for me.Assuming around 5k to rebuild a solid engine...$1000 per year...$3 per day...A +++ VALUE i would say.

    As joker said,the drive shaft breaking and then polevaulting a car on to its roof has been proven to be mythical....as in Mythbusters....BUSTED.They tried every whichway but had no luck flipping a car.
