ill say this after owning the 3.0r auto, get a manual. its a little more money but its so much more of a car. The auto even tho its the new 5 speed auto and is alot better than the old 4 speed is still annoying. I had mine reflashed and the trans flashed as well and it was still slow and annoying with changes.
I just sold mine not long ago, and now have a 92 GT wagon and its by far in opinion a better car.
mine was cross threaded and rounded to get it off. I say put them on with braided paint them pink go hard and have fun. The amount of subarus tjat have 4 pots on them is huge and ive never seen an issue. Im putting them on my wagon at some point because they are a great upgrade
If this is off you gtb id say they are just gtb heads which are basically the same but shim over rather than shim under, thats why the stamping will be the same
why not just get a 2.5 outback and manual convert it, would be alot cheaper, quicker and easier. Depending on what model outback we are talking about tho.
