Keep it. Too bad you can't use it and see what it does maybe serial numbers on the chips and pots may help you figure out what it does I.e impede resistance so the ecu has to adjust its load for fuel correction or some crap. Could also just be a data logger attachment to the board .
Yeah the one here has been altered some way, no boost cut, speed limit, and well other things I haven't quite figured out yet either.
I like!! You guys could make an arrangement with one of the local aux tuners and come up once a month or something and do some of d bois? It's a suggestion. Price wise it may be an intro offer until they get the hang of it they don't need to spend as much time on tunes
I thought the 05 had 5x114.3 rather than the 5x100 the older versions had.
I would take the 02 but the 05 is tidy clean and stock.
I wouldn't leave the 02 till 100,000ks for a service. Get it checked over and 85,000ks is when first belts and general overhaul gets done so depending on the owners manual, you may b spending an extra grand on this but it should be done on whichever car you get.
Anywho any bits off your sf5 they aren't gonna miss you may wanna sell?
Lol had a custom skunk 2 megapower exhaust. That was a loud effin suby rumble even with a silencer. Kinda was a moving earthquake.
Anything over standard with a 3" outlet or more will gain a significant rumble. Don't get those patu carbon fibre 2.5 inch fart cannons
5k would get you some of the bling parts. Just no labour to put them into the engine :'(
Just dont be like my friend that wound up the boost on the stock turbos after his mega expensive build just to send bits off it into his pride and joy
Random^
I'm not really a fan of 5w 30. Seen that stuff shear and it ain't pretty to think that it's supposed to be somewhat the blood of an engine. Heard many engines tick over quite noisily too. Good for small tolerances (I.e new vehicles) I just don't get why we are moving away from "the old days" which viscous oil wasn't such a bad thing.
10w30, 40, 50
Lol what's wrong with 20w 50
You tube some sound clips. I was kinda worried about my noises from the engine bay but it was a combination of oil and my v3 heads that make it tick when cold.
Dunno if it's true or a story I'm being sold by two workshops but *sigh* it's not burning oil or coolant tho.
Herp derp moment.
Was tidying up engine bay and cut wrong vacuum line for one of the pressure sensors. Doesn't get vacuum or pressure lol.
I traced it to one of the solenoid/ sensors on the strut tower. The line I mistakenly cut has yellow plastic parts along it...
I'd drive that.
What worries me is that even though none of my cars whether it be previous or current were fugly or outrageous or disastrously stupidly riced, I wonder if Iv ever been picked out as someone that's committed a serious car crime
If you have faith and wanna test your system chuck it on, keep an eye on it, if anything was to go wrong Itl happen within a week of driving or a few minutes of spirited driving lol.
If you didn't have any problems before generally speaking you "should" be ok.
Just do a quick read up of google with moving to a higher pressure cap etc
