whatever man. look, what else is this forum for? just talking trash and loping about?

im trying to extract information on either products or gear so I can make more informed decisions when I buy the stuff, and part of the process in executing that task is, ah yes, asking questions.

get used to it.

well to be honest, it does not concern me overly, I come here to seek knowledge, not talk shit & like I said, part of that is asking questions so, as I said, they will either have to get used to it as their 'crap' does not bother me in the slightest.

why bother with a crappy slim line sub under the seat when you have a perfectly large boot for a decent sub? i dont imagine the sound quality to be all that great with it under the seat. mine you i've never heard one before, wonder why no one has them lol

Had a slim sub once, total ****. I use all Kicker now and never looked back :D

Like said Ive had slim subs before, worked quite well, just never thought of underseat mounting. In a ute we had them behind the seats and result was fine. given they are just moving air really as its all freq below whatever your LPF set at, they technically could go anywhere, ie boot but would much rather them under seats. Im going to listen to some soon, let you know how I get on.

Get a good grille for the sub too or you will be dropping change and mcdonalds chips into the speaker cone constantly and that ****s annoying. Ask me how i know :P

Under seat subs are factory equipment on some USDM Legacys and ive heard one in a volvo. Wasnt particularly impressive. Especially when earlier models had twin 10inch subs mounted behind the rear seats.

Your problem is that you get all uppity and defensive for no reason even when people are genuinely trying to help.

Case in point:

sweet, well what more do you need to know?

So ive heard, quite surprised they were factory on some, pretty cool but then again, I guess they get ripped out and replaced!

Those flat subs are good for space-restricted areas, but i wouldn't recommend them for an under-seat install. They do still need a bit of a box, and you won't get buggar all space for a box under a seat.

I'd stick with putting it on your boot, and if you still wanted to save on space / weight, get a slim line one and make a box for it that rests up against the rear seat.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
