a 50/50 differential doesn't mean it splits the power and sends half one way and the other half the other way. it means the same power is going both ways at the same time.

if i was as you say, doubling the power going to my rear diff, i think i'd be shitting them pretty quickly dont you?

so a 200kw car, you think each of the four wheels is putting out 200kw?? i don't think physics would agree wit you.

and my original point was, if you're putting out beyond std power, yes you would have problems with diffs. but you are not putting out more than std power

Read up on diffs like suggested and you will learn something

Differentials transfer torque. Kilowatts are a measurement of power. A differential that would happily take 100Nm at 25,000 RPM might explode if you fed it 833Nm at 3000 rpm - even though you are producing the same power figure of 260 odd kw.
