I just got back home with my RS on a trailer, picked it up tonight after it being away for a year, stripped right back to bare-metal, every tiny imperfection was taken out, the fuel filler area had been repaired in the past with body filler so it was painstakingly re-made from sheet metal, basically the body was put back to how it rolled of the factory floor, well maybe a bit straighter even. Then it was all covered in an awesome custom black with a pearl that flips to a brilliant gold.

Got it home, attempted to take it off trailer myself, drivers door was slightly open so i could reach the steering wheel, bloody thing took off in a great hurry backwards, door flew wide open, door got caught on side of trailer, bottom of door is fucked.

I am very angry with myself.

at least bottom half, its cracked paint right back to the metal

and I am hoping like fuck that the painter kept a bit of the paint as it was a custom mix so will be very hard to replicate
