First round of the 2010-11 OSCC AC Championship

this is all i know. its usually in the morning and cost around $40

Ray has been in contact with OSCC but is awaiting details.

i will be there, hopefully going sideways ;D

no excuses. i started doing this years ago in mums honda city, its the best fun.

drivers license optional, but you cant enter IF you lost it due to alcohol

You will most definatly need an approved helmet and 100% cotton overalls, your car must pass inspection so no bald tyres savagely cut springs etc.

SSCC are super lax. they dont even check the cars, nor require helmet or overalls for autocrosses

Yep you prolly ownt get overall checked, and i have had my my helmet missed once b4 (altho is was in the car so they could have checked it?!) but everyones cars definatly get the once over, be a good day for sure.

Kinda hate how most/all events like this fall on Sundays as i work Sun-Thurs. And can only get a few Sundays each year off, stupid work. ;(

Nichols Road Autocross Basically head towards the airport...

1.Head west on Caversham Valley Rd toward South Rd - 0.5 km

2.Turn left at Dunedin Southern Mwy - 9.0 km

3.Continue on Main South Rd - 4.0 km

4.Continue on East Taieri Allanton Rd - 4.1 km

5.Turn right at Centre Rd (towards airport) - 1.4 km

6.Turn right at Allanton Rd - 0.3 km

7.Turn left to stay on Allanton Rd - 1.5 km

8.Turn left at Nichols Rd - 0.3 km

9.Continue down Nichols Rd about 400m and look for gate on your right.

From Caversham Valley Rd:

1. Head west on Caversham Valley Rd toward Mornington Rd 13 m

2. Take the 1st left onto Dunedin Southern Mwy 8.5 km

3. Take the exit 450 m

4. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Quarry Rd 650 m

5. Continue onto Gordon Rd 2.9 km

6. Turn right at Dukes Rd Sth 24 m

7. Continue onto Dukes Rd Nth Destination will be on the left 300 m
