Car interior stinks

Whats the best stuff to use to get rid of the previous stinky smokers etc?

NoVac works well. Anything at the supermarket for carpets does really.

I've tried a fair few as I am an ex smoker but liked my car to smell new.

As far as the branded stuff goes, they are pretty much all the same. I find any of the foaming ones that dont need vacumning the best if your giving it a good clean.

If your just wanting something you can squirt every now and then to freshen up then I used to use some stuff from super cheap which smelt primo. It was in a small yellow pump bottle (250mls max) had a black label on it. Was specificaly targeted for smokers. Sorry but the name escapes me.

I bought an ex smokers car. He said he wasnt but was full of rollys wheni got it and was a bomb site. Last time i let someone else test drive in another town.

Replaced the carpets and striped the interior and bleached it all.

I actually tried to give up smoking today, had one cigarette left at 4am when i went to work, so had it when I was getting the cows in, then told myself I just wouldnt buy anymore, anyhow, had to go down to the petrol station when it opened at 6 to get diesel for my ute, and it actually kinda made me laugh afterwards cos I just automatically bought some without even noticing untill i was halfway through the first one haha, oh well, the young lad that works for me at the moment would probably be dead by now if I didnt buy that pack of cigarettes, mmmmmmmm sweet sweet cigarettes......

Spray an entire can of Glen 20 into the air-intake inside the cabin with the recirculate button/lever engaged...

It will kill some bacteria and help freshen up the dead smell...

For the seats, carpet & headliner - rug doctor works a treat!

If the car has a pollen filter replace that as well. Also, the "Rug Doctor" section in the supermarket has some sprays for odours, they have enzymes in them that break down bad smells and work really well.

Try the Meguiars stuff, its in a little clear yellow coloured bottle, its about $20 though but worth every penny, my terrano used to be a painters/trademans work hack plus he smoked too, a few sprays of that stuff and she was as good as new!!

Have gone for the rug docter stuff to start with. Big bottle and has the enzymes. only cost 6.99, so pretty cheap for the amount you get. Have given the car a good spray tonight and will need a dry tomoorow in the heat, time will tell.

The thing with that kind of stuff is you have to be careful not to get everything too wet.

Nothing worse than having a wet interior.

Yes I believe that has become an issue . May have to leave the aircon on hot for awhile and do some recirculating as well.

I drowned my terrano a while back, water level with the seats, couldnt be bothered taking the carpet out so about 17 hours of idling away with the heater on full blast and windows down about an inch and the old girl is good as new haha

A couple of xmas's ago we had a awesome sunny day. Drove around with all my windows down all day and when I parked up I figured I'd probably be going out again. I didn't. Found it in the morning after it had rained all night. Took me fucking aaaaggggeeeessss to dry it out.

So after a week, still no smell. I can recommend the rug doctor stuff. Very cheap and did the trick no problem. Better still ive still got half a botle of the stuff, just in case
