is subaru the best option? or the likes of BnT?

Just get some nolathane. They aren't that more expensive than subaru ones. I got mine for $140, whereas the subaru's for bout $120. Take the old ones when getting the new ones, so you don't have to replace them twice like I did.

Don't think you can get nolathane ones. When I did mine I went to repco and they looked up the nolathane supplier and said they didn't make them (although that could have been the repco boy no tknowing what he was doing).

I just got genuine ones, they were pretty cheap from memory.

fark me.. what a day (had it off work)

those bushes come out ... yea sure, try gettin them back in! ya cant hit em too hard either.

Went to subaru, they said.."yea nup, drop the sub frame mate" i thought 'fark off' so i went to an engineers and got a heap of thick as fuk washers, the right lenght bolt and made a mini press tp pull the suckers in. that worked a treat but not before i had tried everything else under the sun lol.

So took way longer that i thought

From memory about $320-340

Found someone who had the tool and wasnt going to drop the subframe. Bushes about 80 I think?

yea, well if had of known it was ganna be that much of a A-hole, i'd pay someone that much to do it too, so theres yr answer plox... find someone that has the/a tool, if they start talking about dropping the sub frame tell them to stick it

The last time I had a subframe out I pressed the bushes out. The subframe bent. Lucky it was already destined for the scrap metal due to corrosion!!

just went for a 45min 100kph drive to test the center diff etc.

the car feels more positive on the road with the the diff bushes done, so thats good,

But the best thing is no more C/diff probs!! that was a $50 STI gear box off trade me with 1st gear gone, just used the transfer case, rear housing and c/diff :D

Used multitrax oil GL5 from subaru

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
