yeah i drove my mates spec c briefly and those brembo brakes are awesome! thinking back now i'm sure the ones i had in the 8 were poked or had sh!tty pads in them

try 200kg's of airbags, electric windows, thick glass, interior trim, sound deadening, paint, underseal, thick panels, large gas tank, body kit etc...

Even the Subaru four pots are awsome when your car only weighs 1290kg...

if you doing a lot of track work the extra size of the disk would be good for the extra cooling though I guess...

for shear stopping power I have never had any doubts about the subaru 4 pots.

Seeing as how a fully stripped GC8, even with a cage, wouldn't weigh more than 1150kg, Subaru 4 pots should do the same job that 6pot Brembo's do on larger cars...

I know how you feel, i have put my sub in mine, but; it is only a 10 inch, and i did cut the box down to almost nothing, and it is cable tied in...

and the new Advan RG's saved me 6kg anyway, and i fitted alloy nuts to be on the safe side ;D

Bang on, better heat diassapation. The only problem I ever had with the Subaru 4 pots is that the discs are too thin and cannot handle the heat as well and they crack rather easily - I did 3 sets of discs at 3 events Hence why I changed to the Brembos.

Agree, no complaints about their stopping power - as above, it was only the discs that let me down.
