Upper engine cleaner doing any thing but good ?

Any one ever done upper engine cleaner and it make it worse ? My car seems to run worse since I did this ? It possible that its stuffed the spark plugs ? It has like 3 times had a miss on mid power at lower boost level (not full throttle) and just did a boost before and as soon as I hit full boost it just miss fired ugly as . . . Just wondering if it could have damaged spark plugs ? Going to pull them out after work tomorrow to check

when u first put it in the manifold with it off (going by instructions) was ur car hard to start?

I had no issues what so ever...

Ap;art form a BIG cloud of smoke out the back end...

Aw yeah mine was hard as to start. Because it had a plenum ful of it must of got wet plugs ? It took ages too start with that cleaner but all ways starts good. Jus runs wacky cold ?

did you put a WHOLE can through ? i always just did 10 second blasts time to time

Definitely check the plugs, could be several other issues otherwise ultimately do a compression check if all else fails. I had the same issue, which resulted finding out compression was down on one cylinder sigh. :-[

Lol doubt its compression . . . Was fine yesterday . Its a miss fire . . And yeah I used a whole can cos it says on the instructions to do so .

Nope had no issue in the GT,followed instructions,filled work shop with smoke,made a big difference......

True . But is it possible that the cleaner stuffed the plug tips ? Will get some new ones after work today and see if it fixs it . My cars never missed on WOT ever since iv had it

mine was hard to start.

check this out when me and spencer did mine.

mine has smoth the idel out abit more.its not designed for a noticeable change.its just getting all your gunk and s*** out of your motor

btw u sprayed it into the inlet manifold ah?not one of the vacume hoses,

I sprayed a bit into the AICV 2 clean it . The rest went into the manifold . . . I did it as per instructions

iduno about the ivac one.ididnt do that.just into the inlet.still have problmes with it today?

na na iacv will be sweet. use to do it to the GF (not girlfriend )

For me the cars were always hard to start at first and off it goes hot boxing your garage!

got it runninh mint tonight..dont know which the fault was as i did a few things...

changed spark plugs

changed back to the red ht leads i have

sealed between the pod and the afm as it looked like possible leak

reset the ecu

seems to be going mint now

could be the leak between pod and afm if its got a leak afm getting a fucked up reading.

Yeah mate that why I sealed it up ha ha . I forgot I also cleaned my MAF with cleaner . . .
