after doing a short block replacement i now have a "gremlin" under my bonnet!!!

i little electrical one! absolutely no spark whatsoever

fault code 13 [one long "pause" 3short] cam sensor

yes all earths are connected.

yes i have taken the radiator and front cambelt covers off to check timing etc for the 2nd time after 1st fitting it

yes i have tried 3 crank sensors (but didnt flash fault code for it)

yes i have fuel

yes i have tried 3 cam sensors. one came off a working wrx

ive even borrowed an ecu to eliminate the possibility of my ecu being fried, and that ecu flashed fault13

now this is where it gets tricky. and i hope the person out there who has been here done this is watching and will throw me a freaken bone!!!!!!!!! im all barred up and turning blue!!

i have power to coil, both crank/cam sensors, all injectors. no signal to coil from ecu hence no spark

i have continuity from the ecu to the coil. and from the ecu to the cam sensor

cant be a relay, all fuses are sweet.

*pulled radiator out (didnt fill it this time) 3rd time to tripple check cam belt timing*

i could now do a cambelt in an hour start to finish no breaks

could there be a posibility of tracking or conductivity failure "under load" in the cable or cam sensor plug somewhere between it and the ecu??

the cam sensor switches, and seems sweet (3rd one from a working wrx). anyone know if the sensor is ment to have a specific output voltage while sensing the cam gear

remembering that i tried another ecu whiched flashed the same code #13, can anyone help before i start spining that meter at the auto sparky??

I had that error code once (not once but for a couple of months) have you checked the wires leading up to the sensor? or are the wires the right way round? funny enough if you push start it it will go...well for me anyway.

check the front injector on passnegers side bank and the cam sensor plugs arent around the wrong way

Seen this a few times before and it logs cam sensor error and wont start

really?? so unplug the alt and try to crank it?

and the front injector has a way shorter cable than the cam sensor so im pretty sure a have that correct

NO - sounds like you are measuring through the harness and through and injector to get that reading

Cam and crank signals are sent via sheilded cable to the ecu with the engie harness plugs as the only join

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
