Selling my wrx in parts............

Kia ora fullaz,

Just wanted to know: Has anyone (besides the theives) ever sold a complete wrx in parts? I want to sell my wrx but i know i wont get jackshit for it. I was thinking of selling it in parts. If you have: Did it take long to get rid of all the parts? and was it worth it in the end? Its a Yellow 97 Type R. Ch Chur

It needs a new paint job as the clear coat is cracking. Also, i've been hit 3 times (back, drivers side and front. Nothing major, just panel damage. Due to this, one side of the car is a different colour to the other. I've had the motor reconded a few years ago. One of the pistons wanted to come out the side. Besides that its mint ha..ha..Always serviced, got the receipts for everything i've done on the car since i brought it. 97 Type R, VF30, 3 inch from the turbo, k&n filter, blowoff, all type r extras.

I'm sure there would be plenty of people interested in parts ae , You can usually make good coin parting a car, Just time consuming. I would be keen on bits if you were to part it out

R's are a good one to part as they have some decent parts people want ie DCCD, 4 pots & 2pots and you can make a decent amount of coin parting one.

i would have thought it would be more worthwhile fixing it up or selling as is with buyer intent on fixing it up. especially being 2door

obviously in my case the r iwas talking about had been written off due to crash so was easier and way cheaper and beneficial to sell as parts
