Hey all,

Moving to Wellington early next month - just putting it out there that I'm looking for somewhere to live if anyone knows anyone that has a place to rent in the thorndon/karori/newtown/central area for less than $170 pw incl expenses.

Don't want to live smack bang in the middle of town - still want quietish area but need to be close enough to work OR in a place that has constant buses til late. Also found from extensive trademe hunting 170 is pretty much a standard rate for a shoebox in town ISH :)

Yes! I have been ringing and emailing and texting every one i can afford - just figured I'd chuck it out there since welly has a lot of members that might be able to point me towards something

Have had a phone, group and 1-1 interview with a really recognized company for their call call center, I find out today if it's happening!

Basically I'm putting my cv out there for any job I feel I'm qualified for, but I have a back up plan if I still havent got one by my move date. Fingers crossed this job works out tho. Jumping in the deep end a little but I'm young so it's best I make any stupid descisions now :)

more money = more upgrades ;) well thats how i roll :P just got BC Gold adjustable, alloy radiator and silicone radiator hoses and y pipe today :P

Im next couple weeks should be Znoelli brake dics and 4 pots ;)

ShaylaJ - welcome to Wellington, Hataitai is a pretty good area with the all important 24hr pie shop over the weekend for that hangover food on the way home after a good night out. Plus plenty of buses.

5 years of parking on the street in Hataitai without issue so far. Mind you I only own sh*tty Legacys :)

Is wairoa road as much of a main/direct St as it looks like on the map? I'm gonna be living in an apartment with like 12 people (upstairs 6, downstairs 6) lol, apparently right by a bus depot. Also - I LOVE PIES! Haha

The part that is east of Moxham Ave is reasonably busy yes, as streets go its certainly in the central area of Hataitai yes. And there are bus stops everywhere around the main roads in Hataitai so yeah very easy to get out of the place to get to work etc.

$127 pw including expenses - nah this lot were only just listed yesterday. I kinda hermit a lot any way so I'm not too worried aye. Hataitai seems okay but I guess I'll find out in a few weeks!

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
