TV Headunit for BP Legacy to replace std screen

Whats the best unit that will fit right in to this space and work as a TV and radio etc here?

why not hardwire a GPS unit in there?

Anything with the same size screen should be fine id say.

I have a double din tv/DVD player in my Landcruiser, it is a no name Trademe special,and it has been in there for a few years and still works well.

Playes mp3 cd/DVDs you can fit a crap load of mp3s on a DVD

It has inputs for a reversing camera as well as the normal av inputs for your iPod

Also run a rear screen for the kids, as it is illegal for the head unit to play video while driving:)

The 'best' is probably something from Pioneer, like the AVIC line, but it'll cost you ~$4000

And yes both screens can be fitted/hard-wired into a "factory" hole provided that your car is designed for that size (hence both 7 and 9 Inch shown). Install would be a breeze as the wiring is all there, just swap over.

You will find TV modulation units via Jaycar too or you can try an use the Jap unit. I
