New Battery Needed

Off to get a new battery for the wagon today (been on the to do list for a while now)

What does everyone recommend.

Was thinking of getting the AA one from the BP - does anyone know what these are like as its been a few years since I purchased one of theirs.

Batteries are a massive rip-off usually.

Believe it or not, Mitre 10 Mega does relatively cheap Bosch Golds which IMO are a pretty good battery.

Or pay a little more and get an AGM that you don't have to replace for 10 years and is OK if you run it flat 10, 20 or 50 times...

Not all batteries are made the same

pretty much u get what you pay for

the best are by far the OPTIMA or similiar

my next best choice is EXIDE/MARSHALL

I would not touch a CENTURY as these batteries fail early and even when new are down on CCA's compared to the EXIDE

u will find that most batteries in NZ in imported/Made by the above 2 companies

Size wise fit as big a battery that will fit in the hole,no such thing as a too big a battery
