hey, just wanted to let you guys know that you can get your plates re-issued if they get damaged or stolen for like $25. makes it worthwhile if you buy secondhand ones off trademe and they are all banged up.

also, having a plate that can only be put on one type of car can be an advantage. i bought my first 89 legacy RS 10 years ago. it blew up and i kept the plates, so, after a few years in the wilderness, i have had to buy another one, just to put the plates on (and coz i f%$#en love the 89s) now just gotta get it registered and im puttin them back on.

also, anyone keen on the plates 1 B0Y 1, got them for my 21st when i was an apprentice, they never called me by my name, just BOY. oh, and the 0 is a zero.
