top mount or front mount

hey people, what would be your choice in these two options, my suby will be running a VF24 maybe a wastegate but not sure yet, aftermarket exhaust but standard manifold. want to get the most hp out of my ej20

consensus last time was if your making over 220kw use a front mount.

front mount is alot of work for not alot of gain

Plus you get more lag, if you flip the manifold then lag stays about the same, makes the engine bay look much emptyer which means more thing to fit in ;D

top mount works fine until a certain point i beleive

also top mount will have heat soak when not moving much etc

Front mounts looks better if thats what your in to

Kind of handy having a wastegate. Stops shit from breaking. Why would you want to disable it?

totally subjective... Some say none, some say quite a bit...

depends on... twisted and / or flipped manifold, amount of boost, type of I/C, route for piping, type of turbo, current engine tune....

thus i doubt you wont get any yes or no.

well the piping is shorter for tmic. so yes less than fmic.

less than 220kw=tmic or w2aic

more than 220kw= fmic

Your Water to air intercooler is more than adequate.
