Poddy for a v2

Hi I am having trouble putting a pod filter in my wrx, very annoying in the version 1 and 2s.

Mine is stock like this one

But these 2 on trademe have aftermarket pipes instead of the second box thing coming off the turbo (sorry dont know name haha)

Anyone know where to get these or how to get rid of the box? the smaller one not the airbox

The intake pipe you're after usually pops up on Trademe so keep an eye out.

Also with a poddy, just make sure it's fastened down nice and tight With a cold air box around it so it doesn't suck in the hot air from the engine

+1..ive got a whole intake setup for a v1-2. Incl K&N pod and adaptor etc...

I have a poddy and a adaptor but keen as for set or just the thing i need fro good price.

Hey ninja is that the whole k&n setup including a brace thing to secure the pod filter so it doesn't move too much? Pm me a price

I think so.. got it off a mate whos car got stolen before he even had the chance to use it.

Comes with everything you need and even INSTRUCTIONS

that was actually pretty interesting, cheers for posting up. I pulled the main airfilter box off & bolted on a pod with heat sheild, didnt realise that 2nd box thing restricted flow as well. Next on my list is to remove tha nowt!!

I replaced mine parts from that K&N kit above & surprised at the difference it made.

So im looking for another one of those middle pieces for my mates car if anyone has one??

If you do not get the cold air to the pod filter you have just spent money to get less horse power!

Go For It !!!!! make sure the total surface area of the filter is big enough too!!
