Cheap entry models tend to look nasty, and only have one line display - need at least two these days.

Yeah a single line display is sh1t these days, specially if you are dealing with media, mp3's with id3 tags and all that stuff. But if you are only playing regular cd's (only one line of text), then that's not so bad.

Sold my (Un-used) Pioneer DEH-2350UB to a friend as I decided I'd rather a rear USB for my car, and so I got the DEH-P5050UB for just under 300. Then I realised I have no mounting rack for the headunit or heater control(car has been out of operation for a while, as It was broken into when it broke down on the previous owner) fail.

getting alot closer to having her back on the road, new N/A SOHC engine should arrive tomorrow

BoT-I thought I'd announce the 2350UB worked great for my friend, and as an under 200 is a great USB head unit(even though front USB).

I've got the 5050 unit too. Got it on trademe for 180 or so.. Think the rear USB is much better than the front too-run the cable through to the glovebox for USB stick or iPod..

That's what I paid for the 2350 I paid 280 for the 5050 T.T-

Though I realised the other day, that I have no head unit holder, you know, the piece that the head unit & climate control screws into.. It's not there...

(car's been out of action for a while so never really paid attention to it)

If anyone has a spare one it would be ace haha

on the rear usb-I don't smoke, so I'm gonna run it through the ash tray., so much tidier and out of the way.
