Track times in stock cars

Has anyone taken their standard cars around any tracks? Then once you modify you have a base to start from?

Ie:

What time would a stock v10 STI do around Hampton?

What time would a stock wrx do around taupo?

I know it'll also depends on tyres and driver etc but surely there's a rough ballpark figure you could go with?

So what do u think?

And what times do you think my car would do around say taupo and hampton?

I will do them at sometime so be interesting how close people get...

well in the space of 5 rounds at taupo i dropped nearly 4 seconds off my lap time with next to no mods from the start of the year so lap times are highly dependent on driver, Kamineko was about 10 secs quicker than me at mega meet and we were in almost identical cars. so people just can't drive or don't have the experience\balls to push the car to its limits, i had only had my car for a coupe months and hadn't driven it in anger before megameet.

you should come and compete in super lap this sunday, then you will know how fast your car will go round hampton! theres nothing like a crowd to make you push yourself!

so i ended up at taupo on saturday...

1.24.86 in the second session with a few 1.25s after

final session i decided to go a bit harder on the car and came away with a 1.23.70
