i got a box of parts yesterday. with it a k1 stamped ecu? any one got any ideas what its from. cheers

Yea but that don't say what year and type it came from. Like is it a sti v4 v-limited. As i got told today.

sorry mate those numbers have nothing to do with a Link, or v4 sti. it sounds old, like early legacy.

KL => not a classic WRX ecu code i've seen, but its 4plug so probably oldschool legacy

22611AA900 => AA900 is pretty early. google that, nothing. google 22611-AA900. not much. google 22611AA900, few posts relating to turbo BC5's.

seems legit.

now, your taking the Jecs part number A18-000 RH8 and found a random trademe auction from years ago selling the same ecu, which may or may not have had a link suffed into the case.

= Link has no relevance whatsoever

if the trademe auction mentioned 1902 which is the serial number or that ecu, then yes, OP's particular case has been around the block and may or may not have a link board.

Sticker offset to the corner like that and no arms sticking out, definitely a Gen1 Legacy ECU. Will run an early impreza though
