V1 Wrx td04 turbo change to vf28 whats involved???

hey ive got a v1 wrx with a td04 and was gonna buy a vf28 and was told ill have to change a few things, was wondering what involved to do this? ive got a front mount azwell

direct bolt on yes, however will need to change the two banjos as Vf ones are different to the Td series , might pay to get a walbro if your planing on upping the boost at all? and tune? relly depends how much you have to spend and how much power your after..

dnt 4get the silicone 90deg bend youl need on the intake snout. easy tho.

could be an idea, but still would like to use the vf, sorry im not a big parts person wts the banjo? the inlet from the exhaust?

why do you want to use a vf? td05 would probably be more effective than most vfs on a standard ish set up

because the vf28 is easier to get in my circumstance and the td05 guy wasnt keen to swap

Sorry to hijack, But im doing the same conversion on my 1999 wagon inb the coming weeks. Is it all the same as whats been discussed here as in changing the 2 banjo bolts?

You just need banjo bolts. This conversions different as he has bent entry i believe. I straight swapped my vf23 on in place of stock TD04 same as what youre doing.
