wrx v5 clutch

Hi guys i have to re´place my clutch and also i will replace the flywhell , i found on trademe a good clutch for a good price, but the seller says : suitable for models that have push clutch setups. Anyone know what kind setup is WRX V5??

FJK-7123 off the top if my head then HD for heavy duty. The cheapest option is to get one rebuilt through autoclutch and theyre far higher spec too. 3 day turn around on rebuilding yours.

reckon rebuilding is better? thats how I read it (interested as motor out time for me and thinking might do clutch at same time)

Cant see why not IMO. The p plate gets resprung so its new anyway and the clutch plate is new too. Give him a ring. It was $467+GST and rated 350-400kw. He doesnt have a high opinion of exedy/extreme. 3200lb IIRC.

I cant buy a HD cheaper than that and thats saying something...stock yea but not much cheaper in exedy quite a but cheaper in rpm.

I priced rpm a few months ago and it was cheaper but rung up a couple of weeks ago and prices were all wack. Would prefer autoclutch for my own after I researched it anyway. Maybe Ill ring rpm again and say WTF.

same thing, they'll do you a clutch to suit your needs and i believe they have factory replacement off the shelf for popular cars.

I got my clutch from them 3800lb iirc (pedal is lighter than my old factory one) and i think i paid bout $460 or there bout. i sent the old clutch to them on Wednesday and received the new one on Friday.

Yep! Auto clutch far better than those excedy ones!

Get yours reco by neill and you WILL have a beaut clutch....Better than anything you maybe thinking of buying!

Just make sure you listen to his advice and fully understand how to setup when you install.

He Knows his stuff!!...Clutches are his livelihood!...For any clutch in any setup!

i found clutch exedy stage 2 more flywheel D1 ( 13lbs ) both per less than 800 dolares, but as i told, the guy said that is suitable o for models that have push clutch setups. WOULD IT FIT IM MY WRX V5?? if not maybe i will go for rebuilt

Non-turbo TY752 transmissions used a push clutch which allows you to retain the VW cable clutch and pull the top of the clutch fork away from the engine. These are not suitable for turbo engines.

Turbo TY752 transmissions used a pull clutch which features a hydraulic slave cylinder to push the top of the clutch fork towards the engine.

Non-turbo TY754 transmissions produced from 1999 to 2004 generally used a push clutch with a hydraulic slave cylinder of a different design that pushes the top of the clutch fork away from the engine.

Turbo TY754 transmissions used a pull clutch with hydraulic slave cylinder like the turbo TY752.

TY755 and later from 2005 generally all used a push clutch for non-turbo and turbo applications. These featured a hydraulic slave cylinder to push the clutch fork away from the engine.

TY755 and later transmissions generally have a pop-out stub axle and cv joint as 1 piece. In order to use the Subaflange, a retrofit to the older ty752/ty754 circlipped stub axle and older seals is required. Please note this on your kit order and we can supply.

Who through? Tbh I wouldnt buy a clutch through someone who doesnt even know what theyre selling...
