Parts compatibility

Hi guys, just wondering about parts compatibility between EJ207 and EJ208. Stuff like radiator hoses, overflow pipes etc. Is this stuff compatible between the two? Also would there be any compatibility between EJ205 and 207? Many thanks

Ej205 & 207 were both used for wrx\'s 205 was auto, 207 was manual. And radiator hoses are interchangeable I\'d assume within the right system I.E. turbo and turbo.

Yeah, they should, don\'t know why you\'d wanna put 205 pistons in a 208, no reason they shouldn\'t fit, unless it\'s superwarped.

Sorry, ej205 has coil on plug rather than coil packs, and is from non jdm models pre-01. And is used in all non US wrx\'s post 01. Ej207 is pre 01 in jdm models and other models.

I think my car was a v5 non sti with a ej205 coil pack wasted spark setup. Would have to check plate though.

Ej205 and 207 are phase 2 boxer motor for the Wrx and Sti respectively

This holds true from v5 gc to the gd models

Ej205 was auto and manual

207 manual only as Sti of that era were manual

Only on gc shape the 205 and 207 shared same open deck block

From gd shape 207 Was semi closed and 205 was open still

If the 205 and 207 are from the same model

I mean either gc or gd then the hoses etc will interchange

Cross between the models is not as interchangeable easily as different setup on both runs
