Blue top side feed injectors into bc5 rs

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not the blue side feed 550cc injectors fit into the early generation fuel rails. I\'ve got a deal on a set and would prefer them over yellows obviously. And I\'m getting the injector plugs with them so that\'s sorted :)

blue are top feed only 440cc...

(i assume the v7+ ones u mean right - unless im mistaken and there was blue side feed on older model 550cc???)

they wont fit the older rails unless u got some rails and adapted it to fit ur manifold

or are they aftermarket..

in that case up to v4 compatible ones will fit ur rails without fuss

The blue 550s that are side feed. Off bp and bl legacies.

Well they are larger injectors and would help. I\'m only going 550s as I\'m getting a member on here to chip it specific to my car.

yea in theory but being that the 6s runs yellows and will be stock tune. is it a waste of time. i assuming i should stick to the yellows.

All that will happen is you will run rich and use more fuel. That\'s about it.

so ive done a bit of snooping and it seems that there is a slight difference. it is the rail bracket that bolts onto the manifold.

version 3 and 4 ie phase 1. the bracket is in line with the injector plugs where as the phase 2 ie version 5 and 6 they on the opposite side of the injector plugs.

if you were to bolt them on like factory id expect issues. im planning on doing a split fuel rail so the ends will be cut. im assuming i can flip the rails over with the ends chopped off and they will bolt up the same. obviusly ill rotate the little cover on top of the injector 180 degrees so the plugs still stay on top. fingers crossed this works.

now i just need some rails...

I have dcvr\'s old V5/6 rails with straight -6an fittings welded on the ends which have a couple of pinholes need touch up welds & you would need caps for them as I\'ve got those on the a/m ones on mine, was keeping them aside for the rs which has V3/4 yellows

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
