oil pressure and temp

can i run both oil pressure and oil temp sensors using this adapter that goes in the oil filter adapter

Wont give very acurate oil pressure readings from there as its before the oil has been through the oil pump. oil galleries are the best place for pressure

will it give an indication when the pressure drops ?

more concerned abt if pressure ever plummets when things go bust etc

not too interested in exact pressure numbers .....more like just knowing pressure is up or somethings given up e.g. oil line from turbo has sheared lol

regardless of WHERE you put it in my experience you will get general numbers.

General numbers are great for trending and general health. so for that reason definitely recommended.

you wont ever see momentary surge at the track, but you will work out operating pressure and what happens if its dropping over time and or BEB\'s.

So yyes having it on the sandwich plate is still useful.

read: the general trend is often more helpful to you than an specific number.

thats what i wanted just a trend to see if pressure is good and then see if there is an issue
