profec b spec II boost controler settings

Can anyone help me, just installed my profec b and after the settings for it if anyone has them for around 18psi??

I posted mine from my last car on here few years back when I got it set on dyno but can\'t find post. Keen to save some gas and time!

ugh . is it just me that thinks these boost controllers are no better than 2 bleed valves . one in line and one as a bleed ?

Only have my phone and haven\'t had much luck with google. Took it for a spin before and it was 19.4psi so wanna lower it slightly for high boost

I\'ve always had good results with the Profec B, in two different cars that I\'ve had them in

I think i wrote my settings down somewhere, but it would require a lot of digging around to find the piece of paper...

Ok well if you\'ve read it, you\'ll see that you can reduce the SET figure, and that will reduce the boost.

These are the figures I had

Low

Set (knob on right) 43% out of a max 100%

Gain (first depress of mode button) 10% out of a max 35%

Set Gain (second depress of mode button) 100 out of a max 435

High

Set = 50%

Gain = 15%

Set Gain = 200

its easy once you get your head around how the setings work, but you have to remember as soon as you change one setting it effects the other settings. the trick is learning how the gain effects spiking.

once you\'ve got a set% close enough, you need to adjust the SET GAIN, this is the point the wastegate starts to open, so you want it to stay closed as long as possible, but because it opens slowly, if you have it set too close to the SET BOOST it wont let the pressure out quick enough and cause a spike.

So once you\'ve got it hitting full boost with out spiking, you can wind up the gain, but normally when you do this it effects the SET GAIN so that needs to be backed off sometimes
