04 outback question - suspension

That outback-spec outback is ridiculous

But random thought - how much harder/easier would it be to start with a legacy, and just swap the guards/bumper etc?

I\'ve wondered how do-able just putting the arch extensions on would be, would mean you can start with a go-fast or manual model (same for BG or BH as well?)

Drunken yours looks mean! They look stupid two tone, but dark colour, big wheels and losing the 8 inch ride height looks awesome

Have thought about it... but coming accross all the bits to do the conversion will be a mission. Would prefer to just get an outback and go from there

Yeah, if you\'re not worried about the performance it\'d be way cheaper to swap out the suspension versus all the body parts. And if you get one with the H6 then it\'ll be relatively quick already!

And agreed, two-tone doesn\'t always look good.

Buying a Subaru Lancaster for this very reason. Them armoured doors. But it\'s white on gunmetal gray.
