exhaust advice

Ive got to much bloody noise. Ive got a 2.5inch dump pipe to one resonator then 3inch to an xforce (non) muffler.

Any suggestions to quite it down? even with the silencer in its to loud for my old ears. Just want alittle bit of rumble and a bit more when you give it a squirt.

Better muffler. i.e. one that actually muffles.

V8 shops sell all sorts of decent ones that flow well and quieten things down. I\'ve got a flowmaster one that its really nicely made, chambered, but the internal baffles are well designed to still allow flow.

what would going to a standard sti muffler do with no resonater or cat?

Muffle it but i personally think they restrict breathing a bit much.

Are the genome sti ones worth the money or over priced?

I a full xforce 3" turbo back and swapped out the rear muffler to a genome, it went from being very loud to purring under idle and cruise and really roaring when you put the foot down and want some noise, would defiantly recommend one. Search my user on YouTube and I have a short video I put up.

Yip sort of what im after do you have any resonators in that system?

Just have what the xforce system came with which is a high flow cat, and I think that is all, the Genome really keeps the noise down off boost and never drones.

is ur diffback system same as the stock dimentions?

Thanks, ive sorted a Genome one.

Just need to get it fitted as its a 3 inch from the resonater back and its welded at the resonator on the three inch end.
