Legacy fuel lines

Just wondering which fuel line is the return line in a 92 rs legacy??

1. the hose that comes straight out of the firewall to the feed lines or,

2. the hose that comes from the firewall to the canister/filter (i thnk it is) then to the injector feed lines??

and another Q...

is it ok using 2 fuel regs from a 92 rs to use in my split fuel rail setup??

Pardon my ignorence but I have a bit of a qeustion here on the running two regs.

Why exactly is it not ideal to run two? What's the harm? What are the potential issues?

I have not had a decent answer/info on that point before and nobody seems to be able to say why it is not ideal...

Prodrive used to do it on the Group A and then possibly on the WRC cars. So I figure that its good enough to use two factory reg's on my car ;)
