hey all, have recently purchased a V4 coupe... and am looking to fit some mags to it, and suspension..

ideally wanting it to look like this !! ( rim an height wise ) . only hoping to do it with some sort of setup with springs..

as i dont really wanna fork out for cert etc with adjusties! as they are pricy, unless all els fails..

possibly stiffer shocks or springs? , only thing is it will most likely guard rub aswell.. which would be nice to prevent haha

if anyone has any ideas, i am all ears !! thanks !

And you need the adjustment involved to get the height just right, with big offset wheels if its a bit too high, bit too low, bit too soft, you\'ll end up looking lame -or- chewing out tyres with guard rub

Big wheels and flush fitment means either having stiff enough suspension (like, very solid) to hold the rim in place, running a smaller offset so it can fit in the guard / flaring the guards, or just ignoring the scrubbing noise and wondering why you get pink stickers regularly

Does it have the stiffer sti shocks already? Probably got camber bolts up front which helps heaps if you want silly fitment/width wheels and add some in the rear. You can run whatever camber you want if you dont need a cert its only once you get a cert that the rules come into play. Super lows will do it just make sure you get sedan ones.

If it was my car :D LOL

Unless your doing anything else that needs cert , id avoid going to coilovers.

Reason being is you will actually loose camber as it currently has more negative camber than what is allowed under the cert threshold.

Front is about 3 degrees , rear 1.1 degrees

yeah haha, where the adjusties are the only thing itl be getting for cert, hence why not entirely wanting to go through it unless was to have front mount set up, etc .. etc..

but i sorta thought it would have to be adjusties, was just chucking it out there incase anyone knew around it :P

cheers though people !

There is a very cheap set of D2 on here atm plus cert $450. You can wind in camber after the cert you just need a sheet that says it is correct. You can pack it out with washers to fudge the reading but 3deg is pretty noticeable and when its all #hellaflush it looks like it has heaps of camber anyway.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
