Do you recognise this Legacy bh5??

Hey guys

My names Jordan(jboogs lol) and I\'m new to the forum, been on and off as a visitor just reading info and have found all sorts of great info here(gotta love NZ)

now i have a bh5 here and i am wondering if anybody recognizes it. i was told a few good things about it but am wanting the original owner or someone who knows about it to enlighten me with whats been done,what block is it etc. its a single turbo conversion with a vf28 turbo. was told it came with black and chrome dtm mags or something like that. was also told that the beast is from christchurch? was brought of trademe a 10 months ago.

any info would be appreciated. thnaks

Why is there a boost tap on it, It should be running a possom link ecu, tuned to about 16-18 psi.

vf28 with a 22 rear housing running oil cooling only (must use turbo timer)

it needt the underbody tray on it to keep temps down and make intercooler work properly.

Shux just saw the vid u put up Mattapo.

cars definitely not running that well atm. wth happened??

atm the revs are all over the show 500 then back up to 1300.

anyways who did u sell it to? whats it running? stock block? head?s etc. i havnt changed or done anything to it since i brought it back in late November early december. the car came as u see it now.

thanks for replying...just trying to figure some things out because i want to take care of it and just am unsure where to from here....been servicing it ever 4000-5000kms and cleaning it every weekend dont mind the bodywork either guys... its getting fully paneled and painted(except the engine bay) come Christmas.

AFM has been unplugged and as far as i can see the WRX99R "link" under the passenger/glove box is still there.

im a amateur when it comes to tech talk but il try keep up lol.

the tap seems to be in control of the boost(iv lowered and raised and it sets as i adjust. fluctuates like crazy thou, have never seen it to 7k revs like that of the video...

Could be a vac leak but would need to be post throttle body if its a map based tune. Might have had the afm put on to put the stock airbox back in which is a good thing but looks the only good thing they did for it. Easy to email the tune and load it on just a matter of making sure its all lined up correctly still. Hes closer than you think.

hEy nice vid... iv had(still have) the twin turbo... didnt enjoy it! once i went single. never looked back! good example. put up some pictures of your engine bay spec etc if yourd like...for viewing purposes of course

i dont enjoy the sound of the twins past the 4.5k range either,sounds so <i>Strainy<i> lol but to each his own

Haha yeah mines done the big end bearing so i\'m single turboing it atm

aww mean! saw a vid of a sedan b4(with its back samshed in!) on the keek site what happened? what power you going for in your conversion? is it wagon or sedan?

Yeah it was my B4 then I brought the BH which is the acceleration vid Over 180kw atw would be suffice

You need a gauge that will work with the twin wire sender fitted to the motor.
