I had similar setup like you before, changed fuel pump, iridium #7 spark plugs, blitz boost controller, factory intake and pfc tune, got 206kw, but injector max out, after that changed hks 740cc injector tomei extractor, get 227kw......so injector and extractor are big limitation for gc8.

Stock headers will make 300wkw. With power goal op is after dont bother with injectors. If decapped will flow 750cc plus but 440 are a good match for stock block and your purpose.

Sweet thanks for the info. The shopping list is fitting right in budget then I was looking at around 2k to hopefully do everything.

My coupe maxed its injectors at 227kw with powerFC

Thats a cheap ecu but they do come up. List sounds about right and should keep it very reliable if kept down around 200wkw.

Mine maxed p2 440cc at 227wkw also well wouldnt want to push them further anyway. VF22 had more to give.

Havent decided yet, was thinking of torque performance since they seemed to get reasonable power out of my old bosses completely stock 05 sti and localish to me. But open to suggestions really, I live in Mt Albert/work in taka.

So pretty much like every tuner lol he wasnt cheap when I tuned december before last. If youre good and you have too much work you can afford to do that. I know another tuner is putting prices up after christmas as he cant keep up with demand even doing 7 days a week.

Tuner is one place I wouldn\'t skimp personally. Its pretty much the most important component in any build because no matter how well put together it is, no matter how proven the setup a cowboy/crap tuner WILL root your engine.

I\'m bloody lucky my tuner is close, very skilled and so well priced. Never knew how lucky I was until I saw a few comparisons on here.

I havent used any of the people listed on here, havent heard anything bad about any of them either. I am Central North Island so quite a way from you guys.

I was making a broad comment about tuning in general. I see it more and more lately people looking for cheap tuners and while theres nothing wrong with looking for a bargain its not an area I would be stingy on personally when its the key to your entire package.

Again not shitting on any name mentioned in here as I have never used any of them personally and heard nothing but good things about them.
