I had 6 DD 2515\'s in my GF8 on about 10000wrms and it didn\'t bother the windows. It would push the frameless windows off the seal at the top, sure, and it removed the rear view mirror and about half the trims in the car, but I was never going to pop a window out.

And wtf do you need a 6000A battery for anyway? Here\'s some basic maths for you... Output power of amp divided by efficiency divided by 12.8 is your peak current draw.

For 2500wrms @ 75% efficiency that\'s like 260A peak. You could run that amp happily off a standard decent quality battery.

You\'ve been on the US websites where they all like to run 14 batteries and 7 alternators, haven\'t you?

I used to run way, way bigger shit than this on pretty ordinary electrical systems, all day every day, no issues.

get a massive cap in there, will sort out your dimming issues. could even chuck a couple in, just to help smooth it out. think of the cap as a surge tank. battery fills surge tank, and keeps it topped off. massive bass riff drains the surge, battery just keeps topping it off

had a 4f in one of my really old setups. stopped the lights dimming, thats what i installed it to do, and it worked. *shrug* YMMV

A cap is like a band aid, hiding the problem instead of fixing it. A good battery is sooo much more betterer than any cap.

Yeah 63mm^2 welding cable doesn\'t have a lot of strands but it\'ll shift a lot more current than most audio-brand "0 gauge"
