overfueling rex wont start

right new motor in my wrx and turn the key all i get is this dead sounding whine as it turns over...have been through everything and dont seem to have any issues but now have run a gauge off my fuel rails and i got 90 psi fuel pressure...all 4 plugs are soaking wet...unplug the fuel pump power and wind it over...it starts poping and turning over with a bit more life but still wont start (no fuel of course) anyone have any ideas...please help....ive got new plugs,coils are ok...timing is spot on

90psi? FPR is fucked or lines are hooked up wrong/blocked, should be 43psi base pressure.

And if you\'ve tried it a few times by now you\'ve probably got fuel in the oil, change it some time soon.

Definitely change your oil. Have you got an OEM FPR?

As said, make sure your fuel hoses are around the right way at the manifold/guard connections.

Possible corrosion issue with injectors. Or:- are you sure cam sensor plug and no2 injector leads are not transposed?

mine has the long cam sensor cable on it that plugs up under firewall and injectors are fine

Apply vacuum to your fuel pressure regulator and make sure the diaphragm isn\'t split or leaking?

90psi is 100% wrong on the fuel pressure. That is why it\'s overfueling. Fix that first. I bet your fuel return is hooked up wrong.

90psi is the maximum pressure a pump does. At least you know it\'s in good condition

A reading like that is the result of the return line being blocked/crimped/something not letting the fuel through

so you changed motors? or just rebuilt your old one?

just thinking you might have a ecu mis match if its different engine
